    Default Valuing values

Just as a matter of interest. I should like to see if values are common in all types, or if what personality type we are influences what we value most.

So...pick from the following list 3 values that resonate most with you, or are what you believe in/try to live by.

For some people, a couple of the values may be the same (eg, loyalty may mean solely loyalty to family, in which case, pick what is most representative.)

Feel free to give explanations why, too.

    The experiement begins.

And yes, ONLY three. Prioritise. That's half the experiment.

    You gave me hyacinths first a year ago;
They called me the hyacinth girl.
Yet when we came back, late, from the Hyacinth garden,
Your arms full, and your hair wet, I could not
Speak, and my eyes failed, I was neither
Living nor dead, and I knew nothing,
Looking into the heart of light, the silence.

On your blog, I chose friendship, kindness and freedom, because I find love and safety in those three.

    1. Truth
    2. Courage
    3. Independence

If I can't maintain those in my daily life things start to fall apart and I get trapped in negative habits, which usually only fuel more negative habits.

Hard to chose the 3rd, but 1st and 2nd have the most importance and meaning for me.

Accept the past. Live for the present. Look forward to the future.

I think a lot of those values overlap (for instance, love/compassion/kindness), so I tended to pick the words that appealed to me the most.

Courage –because with courage you will always be free, and true to yourself and what you stand for.
Loyalty –which encompasses family, friends, and the things and people you stand steadfast by.
Gentleness—because it takes more strength to be gentle than to be violent.
