I would say more proudful than arrogant. I know my limits and flaws well. I say I am arrogant because of how I put on airs, and tend to humblebrag. Yet I know very well how unconfident and doubtful I am about my own abilities. But hey, intelligence is hard to measure.

The more we learn, the more we learn we don't know.

It is the semi-literate, the uneducated, who believe what they are told, who put their faith in emotional manipulation, and insist on emotional manipulation to the point of policing it.

The ignorant don't know they are ignorant, this is called the Dunning-Kruger Effect, click Dunning–Kruger effect - Wikipedia.

It is the Deplorables who don't know they are ignorant, and so are arrogant.

I'm not. It's worth looking into the Dunning-Kruger effect.
