See how I've ended your streak? It's healthy to say no once in a while :steam:

I believe I am an optimist. However I have a different mindset than most optimists and I can appear very negative. A good term to describe me is negative realist who is optimistic and takes the middle way... Something like that.

Hmm, I remember a quote I read a long time back:

A pessimist is someone who complains about the noise when Opportunity knocks.

I keep that in mind whenever I am tempted to say to myself 'it can't be done'.

This being said, as an idealist, I have often been told by others to 'please, be realistic' in my expectations of things and or people...

So these days, I would call myself a 'cautious optimist'...

I fluctuate (damned bi-polar!) - I would consider myself an optimist naively so at times, however, when depression has robbed me of my perspective and the colour from life I am a pessimist all the way - it's how I know where I am... Even in my low points though I think "it WILL get better, it HAS to get better" so I guess optimism rules....

I am a...

I'm a pessimistic idealist.

Hey wait, you stole the label I created. No wait, technically I called myself an idealistic pessimist.

Honestly I'm not quite sure, but this is what I wrote in a previous topic:
