The cafe one is pretty classic. PM's clearly took work and is rather funny, too.

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

    Good job, everyone. Tough vote!

Black and Red both well done as a cohesive group of avatars with an overall theme... and Green had some very clever ideas, and images specially created, but just weren't quite as "pretty". But all were really good!

Carebear did an awesome job. I mess around with paint shop pro a lot myself and have done some funny stuff on Fark, but you should see the full-size versions of these Harry Potter pics, they'd have taken me days. We even had multiples of each person to choose from.
I actually liked the other MacMuffin one.

By the way, green's Geoff submission is actually the black knight in the picture, if no one else has noticed.
