Okay, I really like the idea of having my own separate tracking thread, to make things easier for me to remember/find what I've done and when!

My goals:

Exercise Challenge Goals:
-Weight training at the gym 2x/week
-At least 30 minutes of cardio 3x/week
-Walk at least 50,000 steps per week (not including cardio workouts)
-Track my nutrition at least 5 days/week

Nice goals. What site are you using for the nutrition tracking?

Thanks! I use Calorie Count for the tracker. It's free, and I love all its functions. The only thing I don't like is that their mobile app really sucks. :(

:) Hang in there! Stay away from excessive waffles! I've decided to create a fantasy scenario in which you ate mainly waffles that day.

Hahahahah! Fantastic. Actually, it was a bagel and pizza that were the problem. :)

Good luck with reaching the goals!

You mentioned pedometer in the challenge thread and it reminded me that I have one in my phone, so I've been using it ever since and it's really fun.

Sept 9: Cheat day

Sept 10: 6225 steps

Sept 11: 5988 8988 steps, tracked nutrition (did not do well on it, but I did track it!)

Sept 12: 12772 steps

I'm not doing well on the steps. Part of the problem is that some days I forget my pedometer. Might need to reevaluate that goal.

The cardio and weight training goals are really challenging during Fest season, especially this last week when we also had our house painting project. But they are doable.

Nutrition tracking is a good goal and it is helping me eat much better, most days.

Okay I have failed miserably this last week... I figured this would happen. It's week 5 of Festival, the point where I am so tired all the time that I can barely function, much less exercise. I think I am out of the running for the competition, and that's fine, but I hope to keep participating just for motivation.

Hey! This is a very inspirational thread, and I'm hoping I can work along the lines of what you did. You're doing great, and I wish nothing but the best for you. (Did that remind you of Adele?) :)
