The main difference comes down to the fact that 5 wing reinforces 4 traits and the 3 wing exists in conflict with them.

Torn between seeking external and internal validation
Performative sense of authenticity
Heighten emotional expression
Torn between being "on the inside" and being "on the outside" of society
Torn between sensitivity and equanimity
Doubly inwardly oriented (introspective and intellectual)
Seek internal validation
Private sense of authenticity
Heightens internal emotions
"On the outside" of society
Both sensitive and aloof

they've gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the colour of my mind.

Both have been typed as INFJ 4 sp/so. But Dostoevsky with a 5-wing and Morrissey with a 3-wing. Though I don't know about Morrisseys tritype, I can safely say that Dostoevsky was 4w5-6w5-1w9. Other than that I think the differences are quite obvious, Morrissey is more exotic, charming and outwardly elitist. Dostoevsky was just black and white, underground and quiet. Though if I might speculate I'd say that he was pretty charming, not just very visibly so based on his image.
