I don't really think of Eight's having an anger problem, because their temper has them push it out and be done with pretty quickly. When I think of anger I think of Ones, because it constantly churns around in them. Maybe Eights have it though when they are withdrawn in their Five side for too long, just idling in thoughts that can turn to bad and begin to eat.

I've written on anger before, but to be short and brief I think it is very hard to be an 8 and not have anger issues. It sort of comes with the territory.

Instead of using words, a picture works better. Does this resonate, Wind-Up?

Ooh. Yeah, this is actually pretty spot on. Something so essential feels lost without that flame.

Depends on one's definition of "problem".

Heh. That ultimately became my point of view as well. Suffice it to say that the young man whose concerns about my anger instigated this thread ended up getting the axe. Anger, as it turns out, also means boundaries.

Heh, I find myself getting angry when my boundaries are being crossed unconsciously. When someone is pressuring me or trying to manipulate me, I find I naturally get angry as a result. I've started using it as an indicator.

Yes. And with a rather hen peck-y ESFJ male, that can be a fairly regular occurance...

All the same, I think there's a lot of power in being able to manage one's emotions even in difficult situations. Now I'm just working out when it's called for versus when to just let loose on someone.
