Default What are Pe dom 3s like?

I'm really curious, a lot of traits associated with 3s are Je characteristics. Would Pe dom type 3s be much less easy-going? What else?

More concerned about in-the-moment presentation, I would think, with Js being more interested in consistency over time. I imagine e3 Ps tend to be less exact perfection and more engaging showmanship.

For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

Yeah, I've seen that. They also seem to become performers later in life.

The ENTP 3 I know has a tendency to do everything somewhat haphazardly and off-the-cuff. She often struggles to focus on tasks when the outcome won't affect her; for example, in our statistics class, she's distracted by everything and goes off on the most random tangents. She also rarely prepares for speeches, but always does well. It's amazing how much she can accomplish within a short period of time when her goals are really at stake, though.

(I know another ENTP who can be like this, but not to an even close extent. I'm pretty sure he's a 7 or 4.)

    I'd agree with this.

Very performance oriented. Winning competitions, being the life of the party etc.

Meanwhile Je is all about presenting a well put together image of consistency and professional success.

    Just my guess

So she's not really a planner? Ah okay, I see. Could you give me an example?

She's an ambitious person with clear goals, but no, she rarely plans exactly how she's going to achieve them. The only example I can think of right now is that she applied to 12+ colleges and messed up a couple of the applications, but has a pretty definite career plan. Also relied heavily on her interviews, because as skylights said, she's more dependable when it comes to "engaging showmanship" than consistent performance in all academic areas.

That's actually really interesting because it's the other way around for me. Is she much better at adapting?

I'm not sure what you mean. All that comes to mind is the time that I invited her to hang out with three SJs (possibly all SFJs) and I and she felt so out of place. I've never seen her so quiet in a social setting. She's usually able to get along with very different people because of her outgoing and charismatic nature, but she's not a chameleon at all. I think there's a difference between a talent for improvisation and a talent for social adaptation. So, if that's the kind of adaptation you're referring to, no.
