Well this was an excellent, well tested sample size of people. Guess you're more like the extroverts, then.

Perhaps it might help to ask yourself: "what aspect of this process is most appealing to me?". You seem to view monetary gain as a pathway to independence (Eight?), rather than a guarantee of security during rough times (Six) or as a symbol of validation, status or success (Three).

Actually, he talks about status and success a lot. And being superior.

(Because every starving and broken down child in the world has the means to make a lot of money and gain power, so anyone who can't or doesn't wish to do so is inferior, of course. :rolli

ENFP 3w4 sp/sx, second choice is 7w8. If you feel a bit introverted for an ENFP, then the 4 wing & sp/sx (so is bottom rung) explains that (as does the disdain for people concerned with reputation; a reason I think many e3w4s mistype.).
Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)

Independence is not an 8-specific trait. Nor is wanting money. For 8, the type-specific trait is the motive of EXPANDING into their environment, like a king who wants to take more and more territory. Genghis Khan. Divide and conquer. Or just conquer. Greed for its own sake, not even for security but just because they can.

True, I can always see the Fi as a 4 instead of 6. The 3 personality is always archetypal of whatever profession they enter into. And that could be almost anything.

I agree with the bolded, but would this "expansion" trait show up even in sp-dom Eights? Aren't they more like cowboys who roam freely, withholding the inner power they know they have?
