Yep. Me too - especially with people sharing the same wing. I'm a 7w6 and find other 7w6s (ENTPs, ESFPs, ESTPs) to be more similar than ENFP 4s and other enneagram types. I find the 7w8s have a very different quality to them - quite a bit more assertive towards the people around them in ways that I'm not. Also, a lot more decisive.

Ummm....I think this commune place you all speak of already exists. Wouldn't it be the happiest place in the world, filled with stimuli? I think they call it the Epcott Center at the you-know-what-place

The sx/sp 7 description is frighteningly accurate about me. I think my T-ness eliminates clinginess though. I've never in my life heard of anyone describing me as clingy. I get fiercely devoted though. If I'm very into someone, I feel driven to merge with them, in a way. Just like they're my favorite place to be. I have an image in my mind of how it feels, but I can't describe it. "Push-pull" is right.
Thanks - this helps a bit. I think I'm sexual/self-preservation too although could be sp/sx as well. The focused part is a bit lacking to be a sp/sx although the rest rings true as well as the using introspection as an escape in itself. The sx/sp is VERY close to home especially with the buzz of new romantic relationships and wanting to recreate it.

Interestingly, I find that I do this in other areas too - with knowledge or skill areas, get that buzz and then just throw myself in there for weeks/months at a time seeking that intensity... I'm pretty devoted to my interests as I am with my relationships. Yet, finishing projects will always be the bane of my existence even though it's so much better with age and maturity. So many pretty things, so little time...

Well, my assumption was they it doesn't actually exist, hence my calling myself insane, smarty pants. But, you're right. I'm not well-versed, though I'm finding some of the links in your siggy helpful.
I think I think more than you think I think.

Type 7 is rare for INFJ but happens. Type two is also rare, but a bit more common.

I hate to say this, but I'm uber-disappointed with the lack of shiny things in this thread. What else is the Isle of Seven for? Self-reflection??

It just seems that way. Most of the ENTPs who responded in this thread: http://www.typologycentral.com/forum...fferences.html turned out to be 7s. A lot of ExxP types are 7s.

edit-The 7s are winning this poll too: ENTP Enneagrams

I think they tend to be 8s and 3s, but I'm not sure. Where is BlackCat when we need answers to the tough questions? Oh, rescue us, BlackCat!

You are not alone. I am also a non-enfp.

I'm a little teapot, short and stout. Here is my handle and here is my spout. Every time I steam up, I give a shout. Just tip me over and pour me out.
