    Default New Enneagram Inventory (Experimental)

I need to stop and score some tests, so anybody who is new here please hold off. Also, I need to revamp the score key and change the way the statements are answered from y/n/x to a 1-5 scale. So far it has been successful at defining the primary type and pretty good at finding the wing type. But the tritypes have been more difficult.

I created this 64 question enneagram inventory based on the work of the OPQ. Their work is theirs and belongs to them, and I have no intention of making anything off of the inventory except for the satisfaction, hopefully, of creating something useful for those who are curious about the enneagram.

I will score this inventory based off of the score key I have in my possession. If possible, I will also use your score to determine your tritype.

    Here is the inventory:

Answer each statement with either Y for yes, N for no, or X for I don't know/no preference/both/neither/prefer not to answer...
The more X's there are, the less accurate the result. On the other hand, if do you answer with a lot of X's then that could be a clue as to your primary e-type.

NEW RULES: If your answer "depends" on something, or if it only exists in thought, put a "yes."

    1. I prefer to follow my own approach.
    2. I enjoy analyzing people.
    3. I openly express feelings, or, I find it difficult to conceal my feelings.
    4. I enjoy working with numbers.
    5. I am cautious when it comes to making decisions.
    6. I believe the practical is more important than the theoretical.
    7. I'm not the the type to follow convention.

The experimental nature of this inventory is that it is not a "one statement equals one type" inventory. Each statement will equate with 1 or more enneagram types. So you won't be able to second-guess this inventory as you could with any other enneagram inventory out there (given sufficient knowledge of the system). My task is to weigh your test responses against the possibility that each one equates with a particular type.

This is cool! May I request an analysis please?
Also let me know if I use X too much... I used it 17 times... eh fuck, next to each X I'll try to explain why it's an X in case that helps at all.

    @decrescendo

You scored 6w5. If that doesn't look right to you, then I would say 5w6 because 5 and 6 scored only 1 point apart.
    Your possible tritype is 6w5 1w9 4w5

@21lux You scored 6w5. I imagine 6w7 is the correct type for you, but you did have a lot of X's. I need to analyze the results further.
Based on the rest of the scales, you would then be the 6w7 9w1 4w5 tritype.

So I analyzed your results and explanations and came up with the following:
    14. I would change "I am modest" from an X to a Y.
    49. I would change from an X to Y.
    28. I would change from an X to a Y.
    61. should change from X to a Y.

Your score is still 6w5 after making these 4 adjustments.
