    Get these (basic but good):

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/097...ls_o02_s00_i06

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/006...ls_o02_s00_i00

    Then these (advanced):

    http://www.amazon.com/Character-Neur...ywords=naranjo

And one more thing. If you do this and do the coaching session with Katherine, it may be helpful for you. The coaching session is by far the best part.

Professional Enneagram Test (complete version) +
    Instinctual Subtypes Test +
    Enneastyle Questionnaire +
    Mini-Enneagram Coaching Session (45 minutes)

That is not an easy task, especially for us type enthusiasts who would rather embrace our flaws to a certain extent because it makes us feel unique or something. XD It's too easy to say "well, I'm a 7 so I guess it makes sense that I'm never going to finish anything I start." instead of using the enneagram for its intended purpose of letting go of your personality since it is essentially blocking you from knowing your true essence. The personality is just a filter; a mask; a sense of security. As for how to actually going about doing that...I suppose you're right. Most of the literature isn't terribly specific about that.

So what is your relationship with fear, as a 5w6? 7 and 6 are obvious examples of head types and fear. 7s try to avoid their anxiety and 6s fixate on it. But what abot 5s? I can't begin to guess.
I see the highlighted every so often in discussions of enneagram, and have never understood it. If my personality describes important qualities of myself, what does it mean to stop identifying with it? That sounds like trying to stop being myself, which is a different goal than trying to be a better "me". And where is the line between "embracing our flaws" and accepting that we will never be as good at certain things as other people are (just as they won't be as good at some things as we are)? Is the goal of humanity to homogenize the population so no one has distinctive strengths and weaknesses? That seems misguided and just plain sad.

As for 5's and fear, I suppose I act on my anxiety. in that I think of what could go wrong, and plan for it. As a result, in my daily life I rarely have the experience of feeling fear, because I know I am prepared for most eventualities.

Or at least pay for them.
I've been called a criminal, a terrorist, and a threat to the known universe. But everything you were told is a lie. The truth is, they've taken our freedom, our home, and our future. The time has come for all humanity to take a stand...

Well, I have an 8 wing, so I'm always aware of my anger. However, I say when something's bothering me instead of letting things build up.
