    I always knew I was as common as a substance made up of an extensive variety of minerals and rocks....with a bit of water thrown in.

    Honestly though, if this is accurate, it does hold some surprises. It begs the question: what exactly makes one enneagram type more common than another?
    I think the enneagram representing a map of the human condition and each enneatype representing how one experience the world, we can assume that there's some way to experience the worl that are more commons than others. The most commons types are 3 and 6. The rarest are 4 and 5. Also, some wombination with wings are rare because: 1 the number or the instictual variant is rare 2 the combination is at odd with the core enneatype.

    For example, 4w3 are less rare than 4w5 because the 5 wing can seem at odd with the envious, hypersensitive nature of the 4, while the competitive 4w3 seem more coherent. But also, 3 are more commons than 5, so 4w3 are more commons than 4w5.

    Also, Sx/So is the rarest stacking because it represents a degree of intensity that can kardly be reached. And at the same time, the Sp/So stacking realistic, buisnness like, clear, cynical, is at odd with the type 4. SO the rarest form of 4 are the Sx/So and Sp/So one, and 4w5 are even rarer, making 4w5 Sx/So and 4w5 Sp/So extremely rare.

    It's the same for the 7, the rarest form of 7s are the Sx/So and the Sp/So. Especially 7w6 Sx/So and 7w8 Sp/So, because Sx/So is at odd with the security oriented 6 wing, and Sp/So is at odd with the assertive and free spirited 7w8.

    Thoses are jsut examples, of course.

    YIH BOW DOWN SUCK MAH RARE D

    The ones I want, the 4w5 Sx/So. Legendary rare. 9th grade girlfriend. Will probably never meet another woman like that again. Fucking gymnast black belt, didn't give a fuck, breakdancer, rode a motorcycle and wrote books for a living. I was the only person to ever dump her for being a complete narcissist. Although I can't say I blame her. I'd call her back up in a heartbeat if she wasn't married with a kid. Most incredible woman I've ever met. She's the reason I've been single most of these years... no one seems to meet the bar.

    I really don't think there's much legitimacy to this, although I can only speak for my own type but as a whole, sx first 5s seem to be the rarest. I can't judge between sx/sp and sx/so because I have yet to even meet another sx 5. 5s as a whole don't seem to come in abundance. Sp 5s are probably fairly common, so are so first 5s. I don't think there's much of a difference between sp/sx, sp/so, so/sp and so/sx so I assume there's not much of a difference between sx/sp and sx/so either.

    I was waiting for the day you and I would meet.

    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.

    I've known alot of Sx/Sp 6(w5)s. Seems like one of the more common combinations.

    Very rare. Hmm, I suppose I can sort of see that modeled on the forum, there are hardly any 4w3's around here and from what I've seen none of the others are sx/sp.

    However, it seems OP came up with these statistics based on another set of statistics, so I am highly skeptical of their reliability.
