I saw something on Dr. Oz (lol) the other day about there being 6 different flavors, and your preference or craving for those flavors says something about your personality.

    Found it:

I am the 1 out of 8 e6s that prefers sweet.

I crave bitter/astringent food for the most part: black dark roast coffee, 80% dark chocolate, and greens. I also like spicy, especially Thai & Indian. When I'm severely depressed I eat way more baked goods and sweets in a binge-eating sort of way. I think it's less about wanting comfort and more about being masochistic. I think I have the most non-existent sweet tooth of anyone I know. I've never liked candy, and anything overly sweet is just really unappetizing to me.

Savory. I'm really not big on sweets.

My ideal "eat complete garbage" day would include the following menu:

    - Lots of pad thai
    - salt and vinegar chips
    - pickles
    - bratwurst

Foods I hate most are bitter/astringent foods, like the foods ^brainheart likes. Yuck to coffee, ick to dark chocolate, bleh to greens, and most of all....

    grapefruit!!!

why Starbucks insists on making them at least 50% of the whole damn fruit cup is beyond me

I've definitely got a sweet-tooth. I don't consider myself to be overly upbeat and sociable, though. Quite the opposite.

Uh I've got both preferences but a bit more savory

As for personality, again somewhat divided there lol there must be something to this theory

I know someone who absolutely LOVES savory (over sweet), yep he's introverted & creative & kind of laid-back & control & focus. Eh.
