In other words, it's all the same thing, more or less, but someone has a vested interest in making the terms separate. No technical difference to be found other than the specifics of the Fauvre's research.

According to both parties (as I understand it) they don't think they are all that similar, hence the desire for differentiation.

However, I am not knowledgeable enough in both to say how much overlap there is (or is not.)

Can't quite decide between 648 and 641... though that would imply 641, wouldn't it?

I have the same impression. The quote above seems to present "trifix" as a tradmark, for use in their particular application of the underlying theory (sort of like hobbits and kender).

sounds about right, though I could see you as a core 9w1 (you seem way too chill to be a core 4 lol)

9w1 as your enneagram type Amargith? No, you don't vibe that to me.

Grin. Why ever not, PeaceBaby? *innocent look*

9-5-4 i would say (i believe that includes 'painfully avoidant' in the description?)
least sure on the 5, imagining it might alternatively be 7.
lowest overall on 2,3 and 8.

5w6 defines me pretty completely though. i like the tri-fix idea, but i think it's more important to really learn your core

if you don't believe in trifix (honestly, I'm skeptical of it myself) you can answer just for fun

"666" or "911" - I can never decide.
