Hmm... I can't answer that question for you. But I will say this:

Pain is what allows me to connect with others through a shared empathy. I can offer others comfort because I know how they feel - because I've been there too, and I'm still here. I'm still alive. Even if the pain never ends, I can still overcome it through the love I have for others... and their love in turn helps me become stronger in the face of my own demons, because those dear to me remind me that I too am never alone.
