But do work for other types if you sorta...squint. Guess that's the case with a lot of music, actually. It's rare to relate to something 100% so you just metaphorically walk around it and see what it can look like from different angles, until you find one that fits you. Just...YES. Wholly, emphatically yes. The whole thing of the self being simultaneously "excavated" and created; the kinda-trippy/awesome loop of very much being aware of oneself as both observed and observer at the same time; the sheer, all-important need to discover what, right at the core, the self is, and working towards this by exploring those images that resonate on a root level, seeking ultimately to reach an image that fully embodies the self in all it's complexities and potentialities.
