Catch phrases you use=your enneatype?

I was thinking about this today, part of this actually observing yourself vs just 'having a feeling' as to what type you are.

So I've been paying attention to the phrases I tend to repeat the most during the day.

What I've come up with:

"Whatever."
"It doesn't really matter."
"It's fine."
"I'm fine."
"Up to you."
"I don't care."
"Cool."
"Awesome."
"Totally."
"Sounds good."
"Love you."
"Sorry."

What phrases do you find yourself saying repeatedly? What are your go-tos?

EDIT: Thought of some more:

"Yeah, that's not my thing."
"I'm not into that, but, whatever."

I say polite words like "excuse me, sorry, thank you" a lot IRL (to the shock and surprise of the entire forum) and say

"like" as a filler word and "hey what's up?"

"kitties!" or "kiki"

"that's cool"

"right on"

"How's it going?"

"do you need anything?" or "can you help me with..." or "do you know anything about..."

I also tend to speak in directive statements because I'm often concerned with acheiving whatever ends, and I use "I don't know, I don't know" as a deflective statement a lot to get people to leave me alone.

I tend to mirror what other people say a bunch, too. I pick up other people's "catch phrases" very easily.

while chatting I tend to say "ohai" "that sucks" and "NO U" and "orly" a whole bunch

I also use copious amounts of "<3" and other kinds of emoticons or silly affectionate words

Haha ha ha ! I am familiar with 9's passive aggressive style!:D both in my 9, and in me when i from 3 go to 9.

What I overuse :

i can do it!
I could do it if i wanted to!

I plan to...(insert plan )
Other person: that unrealistic
Me: i can do it :D

What if I do that, that and that will I then be awesome?

I am actually ashamed to use real examples ; but they include things as graduating early, looking the best, being impressive, being more smart than my bf's ex-gf (rofl)...

I am constantly calculating how i can do something better and faster :)

Here are some phrases I use:

"Anyway,"

"Does that make sense?"

"I think..."

"I feel..."

"Personally..."

"What?"

"I don't think X is necessary for Y, because..."

"Why?"

"I would rather..."

"But what if..."

"I would never..."

"I prefer to..."

"I don't think that's accurate at all."

"Honestly..."

"What do you think?"

"I can't accept that."

"How can..."

"Don't you see the implications of..."

"You should..."

"I wouldn't, but..."

"Can it be..."

"What would..."

"I'm sorry if this doesn't come across well, but..."

"I don't know."

"Maybe."

"I don't feel like it."

"What do you want?"

"How am I supposed to do that? I can't..."

"I'm not satisfied with..."

"I don't want..."

"I need..."

"I just don't have the energy to..."

"That's not good enough."

"I didn't mean it that way, I'm sorry."

"I can't deal with this."

"Shut up!"

"No, it isn't. It's not what you think it is." (In response to someone saying, "it is what it is.")

"so what's the hold-up?"

"that's neither here nor there"

"man, fuck a duck"

"...and so?"

"[what the] fuckity fuck"

"awesome"

"false dichotomy"

"that's nice... but how's that relevant?"

"so what you really mean is"

"but the bottom line is"

"but that's assuming..."

"d'awww"

"it doesn't matter, really"

"you don't say!"

!

hmm

"hm"
"heyy"
"what's up with you"
"i don't feel like it"
"no i'll do it"
"love you"
"shit i am going to be late" (makes it within 1 minute)

i tend to mirror others' communication styles too... i should try keeping track of this today and see if i repeat anything else noteworthy.

As a type 6:

Don't get mad at me!

I know I am worthless piece of shit, but...

I don't believe you, that is too positive.

That person hates me...I know it.

AHA! I SUSPECTED IT ALL ALONG!

*Incoherent stammering, flustered ramblings*

And the most common phrase:

I feel betrayed.

My husband, who I think is a 6w7, says stuff like this all the time. It drives me nuts! I have a hard time believing he really thinks that, it's like he's saying it so that people will think he's a regular, humble guy. I don't know. Maybe he really does think it...?

Do you?

"Excellent."

"I feel...."
"I think..."
"I do <insert verb here>..."
"What the hell?"
"OMG!"
"....<insert giggle here>...."
"I wish that..."

I don't hold out much for parsing enneatype from catch phrases. "Excellent," for example, can be shaded for type based on tone/source/intent.
There's Bill and Ted surfer dudes' "excellent"

and then there's the Mr. Burns evil mastermind's "excellent."

Hey, I'm not saying it's a way to do it, just something to possibly take into consideration. And yes, you know how you're saying "excellent", no one else knows on here...

Still, it is a fun lil exercise to draw patterns from these.

It's a reserved but delighted version, with a slight dark edge, if this clarifies things. Not surfer dude "WOAH EXCELLENT!", but not nearly as evil mastermind as Mr. Burns (although when I say it, I end up thinking I sound just like him.)

"Nevermind."
"Nonsense."
"Really?"
"For real?"
"Precisely."
"Personally..."
"Are you serious!?"
"I'm sick and tired of..."
"You have to be classy/graceful/proper."
"I act with class."
"I'd never do that/hang out with them."

So far, if we are talking about words.. I identified with what most the INFJ's have written..
words like: honestly, indeed, i think, i feel. It SEEMS is a big one for me.. excellent, etc. But i notice that I will pick up catch phrases from people I really like, that i think highly of.. certain phrases will remind me of this person.

WOrds I like to use:

Fellow
Lady
Shenanigans
Hum-Drum
Fantastic right there, just fantastic
outstanding
amazing
madlove
doll
bastard
(i notice some hyperbole here-- maybe an E thing?)
Interesting. (when my lie detector is going off and I'm about to thrash through the inconsistancies someone just tried to feed me)
livin' the dream, just livin the dream (said to be funny)

I will go through movie phases too.. where certain sayings will stick out and i will use them for weeks
recently i watched Anger Management for the umpteenth time
so for the last few weeks when I see someone get really sarcastic i'll say "sarcasms angers ugly cousin" sarcastically for an ironic effect
or the scene where adam sandler is sitting in the bar with his anger pal.. because his anger pal is in a bad mood, and the anger pal is going on about being in grenada or something.. then he looks at sandler really intensly yet maniacally and says "I have seen some shit, yes I have SEEN some shit" makes me laugh SOOO hard. I'll throw that out there, on and off for a few weeks.

dude, really, and alot. All bad ones for me.

New catch phraze on the street I can't take?
"I know, right?"
I hear this ALL THE EFEN TIME.. and it drives me caraazy.
WTF is that? It's a statement and a question rolled into one.
