But doesn't self-preservation go really well with 6? 6 is about foreseeing and preparing, and self-preservation is about preparing, too...

I think instinctual variants say how the 6 tend to be prepared: by managing their ressources and being cordial (Sp), by respecting social rules (So) or by gaining strengt and beauty (Sx). Of course, we can experiments every coping strategies, but there's often a glitch for one or two territories in particular.
