Fine! I will just go with the Why Where We Live Isn't as Bad as People Think it is thesis that he suggested for us to use.

Stupid critical writing. Now if I can find the will to master my spelling I may pass the class after all.

I almost made my thesis on:

The sophisticated fighter

Aka: Does education boost intelligence

Research has shown that individual IQ's do not change drastically over a life time so why do people view educated people as intelligent. It is not because they are brighter but that have learned to move their thoughts in a way acceptable to other educated people.

But I thought that would subconsiously piss the teacher off somehow.
You make very good points, and I totally agree with you. When I have to write papers on subjects I care NOTHING about, I'm filled with a very real hatred for the assigner, the University, and all humanity. That's just me.

Any opinions for me?
In high school the chubby girls always, always had a guy and one or two waiting around on the fringes.

Hmm, that may have some appeal; a good discussion would make me hotter though...

The way you describe it, it seems like he wants you to show you can follow a common format of research papers. To help you focus on the format and technique, he doesn't want you to worry about actual research. So your topic, "Why Men Prefer Heavier Women" (or whatever), is perfectly suited for the job.

To answer your question, I am attracted to fairly active women that respect their bodies. There are plenty of women that fit this but do not quite fit the contemporary definition of 'thin'.

Also, I live in an area prone to getting hit by the occasional hurricane. I don't want a woman so thin that she would get blown away. Gas prices have become really expensive, and it would be costly to make the trip to bring her back.

I think your other thesis is MUCH better--the one about educated people not being smarter. I just don't think you can get a decent paper out of the "men prefer fat vs skinny." It's far too subjective and easily disproved.
