Sassafrassquatch has a very unique way of communicating. He has a great visual eye which he often uses to communicate. He is the representative of how a picture is worth a thousand words. And the imagery always fits in with the topic at hand.

Wildcat also has a very unique way of communicating, but sometimes his language is hard to understand concretely. However, one normally gets the essence of what he's trying to say.

Metamorphosis is representative of how INTJs are not necessarily blunt and serious. He shows that we have a goofy side. He also has a delectable taste in music. Metamorphosis appears to be the kind of person I'd like to have a beer with! And perhaps we could start a business relationship and take over the world!

I like this thread. I know I am not a very regular poster here, but if anybody would like to write a few lines about me that would be fun. This is the first and only internet forum I am posting on, so it would be interesting to see what comes across.

Well, since none of us think of you as being anything else than Q, we assume that you're a bit of everything! I'll try, but right now, I'm going to do Whatever.

Whatever is, very simply, the most optimistic person on these boards. I can tell just by her posts that she is happy and energetic. She is an ESTP with well-developed Fe even though she doesn't like to show it! Even though she and I have probably nothing in common, she is always so open-minded. She always enjoys causing mischief and it shows in her choice of smilies. As her SP-ness would suggest, she is very sophisticated in her tastes in food and, of course, wine. She may be everything I listed as hating, but I love her anyway!

Developer is highly intelligent and does little without fully cogitating on it first. "Still waters run deep," as they say, and I sense that there is much to developer that we don't, and may never, see here. At the same time, I get an impression of total honesty and integrity-- the guardedness doesn't come across as deceptiveness. My hope is that he will narrow the buffer a bit, over time of course, and let us see more of what makes him tick.

Economica: Economica wants to help you. She really does. She's not being belligerent or difficult or argumentative. She is precise and thorough and will get to the bottom of it. She has the most comfy couch you could ever lay on. She'll cook you a delectable meal and you can watch Frasier and discuss incentives together.

Ptgatsby: This dude is smart. He's like "uhhh...I think not." I'm afraid that he's going to completely leave the forum and I'll never hear from him or nonparaliel again.

HTB/Mycroft: Please post more! You're both hilarious!

Bluewing: Yes this may seem odd, but this fellow has grown on me. He's gotten much better over the past few months and there have been remarkable changes in him.

Gabe: You're spunky and I like that. Sometimes I think you jump the gun a bit. I'm still getting to know you better so maybe I shouldn't have wrote this.

FineLine/JivinJeffJones/Carebear: Y'all are my INFP demigods. Quiet wisdom and wonderful sense of humor.

Userhername: Could it be your undying love for ENFJs or that magically your intestines somehow stay in place despite exponential centrifugal force? I don't know, but you rock. Keep pwning humanity and please don't stop posting!

Zergling: I have this incredibly huge soft spot for you. I have to think about it more.

Athenian: You're earnest and it's endearing. Sometimes I wonder if you're joking or being serious, but I decide to laugh anyway.

Purplechickenz: You are very sweet. I think you worry about things. You're not alone.

lookin4: My ENFJ goddess. You're a superwoman! So often you write what I'm thinking or feeling, but too lazy/paranoid to invest any considerable amount of time in my blog about. I think we'd be very naughty if we ever got together.

Uberfuhrer: My favorite racist. You're the one person who has benefited the most from the reputation system like you predicted.

Madmins: I don't know if I should be put this out there like this, but I completely enjoy our modbox discussions. I think we've got a great group of people running this place.

Carebear is an extraordinary person, IMO. In a good way. He first grabbed my attention back on INTPc when he made me laugh out loud with that quirky blend of self-conscious strength, intelligent wit and vulnerability that's been his trademark to my mind. His quiet sincerity can be misleading - he is willing to take risks and he does sometimes come out with things that could potentially 'rock the boat' - he's not quite as 'playsafe' as he can easily be mistaken for being. He's the proverbial quiet one you gotta watch. And he's not afraid... or at least, he's master of himself, so that whatever he does fear he doesn't let control him. I've always been struck by his intelligence, his curiosity and non-aggressive assertiveness. He doesn't go out of his way to grab attention, but somehow when he has something to say I find myself shutting up and listening, and it always gets me thinking in ways I hadn't expected. He seems to be a person who keeps their ego on a choke chain, a person who laughs at his ego, as opposed to most of us who are led along by our egos whether we like it or not!! IOW many of the qualities I long to cultivate in myself, I see effortlessly displayed by Carebear, and that combined with his ability to do something that so few people or things in life ever do - surprise me - means that I find him totally awesome.

The only down side about him from my point of view is that he's straight!

That was SO nice, I am all blushing

I admit I am guilty of holding back a lot of things - I think that is the result of doing politics in the job for many years. I always need to think carefully what to say, which information to share and that becomes a habit after some time. (I also have heard that INTJs naturally have a tendency to hold back on stuff, so it may not exclusively be the job )

Still, you are right, there is no deception behind it, just.....caution. And what I write on this forum is with the best of intentions.

Anyhow, I will better myself and try to be less guarded (must think carefully on how to do this...).

Substitute was one of the first people whose posts I started to read regularly. He is an incredibly smart guy with a lot of experience in various areas of life. He is also extremely well read and has a thorough background on art and culture. It took me quite some time to catch on about his personal situation which for me shows that he has come to terms very well with it.

I love the Q avatar and I am happy he has come back to it, as it fits so perfectly to him (IMHO). Actually, when I read his posts, I hear Qs voice in my head. And I am always curious about what he has to say.
