Ever wanted to know the difference between an American IPA and a Belgium IPA ? Respect Beer! and find out about some of the world's most glorious brews.
Two of my favourite Microbreweries: Unibroue (Celebrates Quebecois culture -very cool) Rogue (Fine brews for the Rogue in us all!) |

Ooooh, thanks!
Right now, my faves are Rogue Dead Guy and Delirium Nocturnum. All I really know is that I prefer hoppy finishes and I'm not big on wheats.

i mostly like lagers but lucifer is top notch.
lucifer "A devilishly strong Belgian pale ale with intense hoppy bitterness and fruity sweetness, with undertones of ear warming alcohol." sapporo is one of my favorite lagers. as an aside, dos equis has a great and crisp amber.

You know there are plenty of great American microbrews. My problem is I'll go out to a place, try something new and even if I enjoy it I'll forget the name of it to have it again. Either that or I'll feel compelled to have something new everytime. It can be rare when I go out and have the same beer twice.

I just had this one this evening
Paddys Pub - Kentville Menu - Paddy's Handcrafted Beers, Beverages The gaspereau pilsner. Pretty good, for a microbrew. Went well with the bacon wrapped scallops! -Geoff |

I found a place that does Belgian strawberry lambics.. cold, sour, and fruity.. on draught in the City I work, two minutes walk from work. Plus I work in a country that encourages lunchtime drinking with colleagues.
Yay. -Geoff |
