No more then a few hours ago, Rick Astley was said to have died in a hotel room in Germany. It has already been confirmed that he is however alive and well. The Xth fake celebrity death since MJ died. What makes a person put out fake death news of celebrities. What could they possibly hope to accomplish?

..And why would anyone truely believe that Rick has given up on us?

..In bonfire-ish seriousness though. Why do you think people try to shock others in such a.. well.. lame manner!

They say that global warming did him in finally.

It's like with people who love to watch accidents. The people coming up with nonsense such as this get some sort of sordid pleasure watching things unravel before their eyes. I guess it's exciting for them, personal pleasure.

It's just trolling. But in this case, the trolling is spreading beyond the internet and into real life.

Though I have to admit I find all these fake death reports kind of amusing.

You know in a way it is an interesting way to remember people- for example- I completely forgot about Rick Astley. I kind of like it in that it makes me go- oh yeah- that person is still alive? I forgot all about them. I need to IMDB them.
