Trust your intuition. Treat yourself well. Don't allow others to influence the way you feel about yourself. Don't allow others to influence the way you feel. Period!
Have courage and heart. Keep the faith. Work on acceptance, for with it will come peace of mind. Do the right thing and the next right thing will follow. Love with all your heart. Pay attention! You're on the right track so don't get discouraged; find some good people and hold hands. And, for heaven's sake, Girl. Stop thinking you have to do this living stuff all by yourself. Accept a little help now and then. And learn to ask for it! I love you, Self

Dear Self,
Where were you when I needed to hear that? Irritated, Anja

In retrospect I think that letter should have been sent twenty years ago.

Dear Jennie,
Enjoy being a kid, otherwise you'll spend your entire adult life trying to recreate a childhood you wish you had. Specifically... 1. Laugh at yourself more 2. Play games 3. stop worrying so much Forgive those who have done harm to you and try your hardest to move on. Reach out to people and talk about your feelings and needs more. You'll feel less alone if you do. Surround yourself with genuine people who enjoy you. Talk with your father more. It only SEEMS like he doesn't care. Be the first one to make a move.

Dear B,
Not much you can do at your age, so just be patient, very, VERY Patient. - Future B Still applies.
