Default Help me find more composers like this!

If anyone can recomend any composers that use a similar polyphony chorus like Sheppard, I'd appreciate it! I don't believe in god, but I can practically hear such things in this piece:

Eric Sera has some stuff like this, mostly for the movie The Messenger. Hans Zimmer has a few songs like this. I honestly don't know any artists who use this as their main focus. It sounds really awesome, though.

I believe that's Thomas Tallis you're linking to nozflubber. Or at least Tallis is the composer associated with that form of polyphony - English plainchant.

Anyways, Michael Praetorius is another great composer in this field of music:

Of course there's also Gregorian chants:

The Benedictine Monks of Santo Domingo de Silos are a good group too look for this kind of music. Their albums have been top sellers.

There's also the Cistercian Monks of Stift Heiligenkreuz, who recently released an album Chant: Music for the Soul, which includes some very good renditions of Gregorian chants too.

Anonymous 4 is another good group to look for.

Hildegard von Bingen is another composer you should look out for:

Tallis was the performer for that particular track but it was Sheppard who originally composed Media Vitae

And thanks, i'll try these out!

Well in that case, I officially suggest Thomas Tallis

Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but I love it.
You might too, or not.
