I like shooters, rpgs, side scrolling adventure types, turn based strategy, real time strategy, etc.

anything but racing and sports games, or uberlame games (unless we're talking the burnout series)

If it weren't for the consistent hitching in certain levels, some of which reduce the frame rate to a slide show (it needs a patch), then Crysis Warhead would be one of the best shooters ever made.

I swear, this game looks ten times better than the first Crysis. There's more color, more detail, and more awesome physics. The game itself is also much more fast-paced and consistent. In the first Crysis, the game started off in a strategic sandbox mode, then involved into something way too linear and unexciting in the second and third half.

Crysis Warhead, while being a little more linear, is more consistent in this way -- there are still multiple ways to approach objectives, but they are not as diverse. Instead, you have this sort of thing happening throughout the game, rather than the entire game changing its idea.

The first Crysis suffered from somewhat boring storytelling, Crysis Warhead is highly whimsical by comparison, and the action is intense -- almost like a Michael Bay movie.

Now if Crytek would just make the patch to solve the hitching problems and possible memory leaks (it's not a video card issue, my GPU is more than capable of handling this game), then Crysis Warhead may possibly be the best game to be released this year, so far.

Tomorrow, perhaps, I will try playing Crysis Wars.

I'm sure this has been suggested already, but for those that play Team Fortress 2, we should get a group of people together and play a few matches :O

Oh, bless your little souls! :D I'm glad Perfect Dark for N64 has already been mentioned several times.

Other than that, I don't really play video games at all. I used to play WWII board games with my dad, and Axis and Allies is still probably my overall favorite. I continued that WWII turn-based hobby on the computer, and Panzer General for Windows 95 is another one of my all-time favorites--I still have it on this computer.

I decided that I love Metal Gear Solid 4. But why did the cinematics all have to be an hour long?

I would like to add Saints Row 2 near the top of my list.

It's like Oblivion in the modern day.

I want everyone to get a legal copy of this game, because I want there to be another sequel.

Oh, RPGs all the way! Though I tend to only stick to a choice few

Final Fantasy [series]
Xenosaga
Radiata Stories
Chrno Crusade/Trigger

I enjoy other games though I can barely get by in some of them. Dirge of Cerberus and DMC are so fantastic, but those shooting games make me weep for my lack of coordination *lol*

Let us not forget the classics, though! Puzzle games like Tetris, Dr. Mario, Yoshi's Cookies, and Tetris Attack! made me so warm and fuzzy inside...And Super Mario Bros., Zelda, Metroid, and Donkey Kong make me long for the old days something fierce.

I fondly remember Trent Reznor's musical score in Quake, as well as the NIN logo on the nailgun ammo.

I thought the game itself was boring, though.
