Pain in the chest
The heart won't rest or resist the urge to hurt

love is on my breath
My wrist bends and twists and jerks
Trying to write
Crying for right - tears blind my sight

My wrist bends and twists like an everlasting winter night's shiver
all right, My wrist hurts like dust and dirt, mmmhmmmm

Pain in the chest
deep in the heart
full moon on the horizon
Othello is my part

The Jackal laughs with his empty stare as I walk through the valley
Drawing outlines of my body with his chalk , I know his visions of chewing on my flesh, his watering mouth betrays his silent and calm stare,
I hang my head down, low, swing low
and smile like a joker swallowing a hot poker
and fall on my knees,
to ride the waves of Plutonian seas on a raft made of splintered wood, drift and flotsam from the Santa Mah-Saturn

I ride the waves of these seas
until my knees bend and split with disease
I scream hey Africana!
I run for Africa
It echoes in the canyon
"Hey Africana!"
I'm coming back to you

In this life or the next

Yeah bet on it....one day....in this life or the next.

i'm going to Africa.

Paper is blown in the wind and zig zags
Shadows play and dance like lovers in a tryst: Winter and Summer, Fall and Spring
As I gaze at the city of lights and towers
From the roof of a Den Dao

Leaves fall like sinking stars exploding in their silence
As I turn to stone and mourn the lost souls of my ancestors
Big cracks form around arms and legs, torso, and neck
Little cracks branch out like smaller rivers
I turn my neck and it cracks
My eye blinks one last time
A gust of wind blows me in to dust
And I am gone

Like my Father and Mother
Like their Father and Mother
Soon
Like a leaf falling and exploding like a silent star
we will parish from this place
like a turtle escapes a box

Like a tiger escapes a Cage - a very big cage he is grateful for

We are eternal
Eternally passing away
Riding the wave of the ages eternally
Yearning to be mortal
For in the mirror that which seems to live forever
Is seen rather as passing like the fickle flame on a melting candle
And that which is fickle is everlasting, in the mirror, like a slowly rolling stone mountain

That is how ye thief thinks
No thief of gold
But the thief of hearts
Yes, the thief of sober and drunk hearts alike
Ye thief is no fool but nor is ye thief wise
The thief steals cause all time is stolen

That is how a thief thinks yee see

Yours Truly
The Teeve of Shawdoh
The Teevis of Shadwohun
The Red Buddha
Robin Hood
Teevis, Teevis, Teeve - and gone

Some hold on to fullness like a raft in raging torrents
Some hold on to emptiness like a sinking ship

Some hold on to nothing
And some hold on to everything

But a Teeve does not hold at all.
A Teeve lets the universe hold him or her
Until he or she falls through the cracks
Upon the lowest place and waters the soil

From the soil grows the plant
From the plant the flower
And maybe a fruit or two

This is the Teeve's bounty
A bounty he or she never sees or holds
"Cause the Teeve don't hold" I says

Nay

Teeve's are Teeves

Teeve's are not leaves.

If le Teeve were so lucky to be a leaf

Wouldst he pick his teeth with a rusty old pin he uses on locks?

Nay...he'd have a gold comb to plumb through his hair.

Dat's how it is mates. Dat is how it is, eh?

"AEY!" the thief told me. I didn't know he was a thief at the time. I just looked at him with a dumb stare.

"AEY! BOI!" the thief said again. "Where art thee from boi. Dees places here on the docks and dens ain't no place for a boy. What yer name boi. or is it boi?"

"Names Jeremy." I said. I was gnawing on a piece of bread and nothing but bones.

"Come wit me Jeremy. Aye. I'll train yee to be a thief so yee done starving," and with that I was trained to be a thief...so I woulds't not starve any more.
