inFAMOUS: Second Son on PS4

It was interesting at first, but the gameplay has become very repetitive and now I'm just trying to force my way to the end of the game.

Holy crap that's a funny video. :D

I myself missed the FF7 craze. Later, after hearing a friend rave about it for years*, I finally found someone with a copy of it. So I borrowed it, played it for a couple of days, but then it kept crashing when I got to the casino-type place. :(

*"I will resurrect Aeris!"

I did play FF12 all the way through though, and it was pretty amazing!

some hearthstone, some minecraft (yogscast complete pack).
I'm still not sure what kind of game to call it, exactly*, but Hearthstone has become my go-to time-killer. It seems to have gotten tougher this month, but I've also had some amazing pulls lately. Dr. Boom in my second ever mech pack, then Malygos and Illidan in back-to-back packs yesterday!!! It's enough to make me wonder if Blizzard has changed the card-randomization algorithm...

*Is it a card game? A simulation of a card game? A trading card game without trading? ...?!

I'm playing Shadow of the Colossus right now. I meant to play it when it came out, but I kind of forgot about it. But I found it at a used video game store for only ten bucks! Score!

Except... not score. I don't know about this game, you guys. I mean, it's pretty straight forward: your task is to find and defeat sixteen Colossi, which are these enormous part-organic part-mechanical creatures. There are no dungeons, no side quests, and hardly any characters. Seems fairly simple, right?

The thing is, the Colossi aren't evil. At least, there's no evidence to suggest they are. They're just these big things that sort of wander around. They certainly don't do anything to deserve death. But you have to kill them anyway. Speaking personally, I feel like a murderer every time I take down one of these majestic giants. Especially the ones that are just minding their own business, until I come along and brazenly stab them. When they die, it's awful. They fall all slowly, crying out in pain, and you absorb their life force. ICK.

I'm starting to wonder if I'm actually the villain in this game.

Totally relate, and you probably are. When you're ready to up your "villain" game, try out some FPSs if you haven't already. Since you are killing someone behind a monitor & keyboard their "death" has a human component.

prplchknz: I'm playing mostly grand strategy games atm, Europa Universalis 4 and Hearths of Iron III, with the occasional jaunt into Skyrim.

I've played some first-person shooters, but mostly the sci-fi ones, like the Halo and Half-Life series. I don't really feel comfortable with shooting photo-realistic humans, though. When I was a kid, I didn't even like stomping on the goombas in Super Mario Bros., because I thought they were cute.

I guess I'll never be a truly evil INTJ. Unless I hire minions to do my dirty work for me.
