A lonely island where only what is permitted to move moves, becomes an ideal. Jung
Not for scary, but for a very physical reaction of revulsion whenever I think of it... Antichrist
I think if anyone can watch a Lars von Trier movie without feeling anything at any time... they must be dead already.
Anyway, yeah -- Antichrist.... that was an unsettling movie the whole way through
Plus the ends of Dogville and Breaking the Waves.
Melancholia's ending wasn't as disturbing as those, to me.

“Pleasure to me is wonder—the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft
