Thread: Grunge!

  1. #1

    Default Grunge!

    Is there anyone who likes grunge music? I mean that Seattle sound from 90's where guitars sound like awesome hacks and basses are tuned down so they are super gloomy and you ask yourself "How is it possible? It's right in between punk riffs and metal moody dark sounds, but it's neither of these..." And I mean Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, Hole, Alice In Chains, Mother Love Bone, L7... Anyone keeps rocking on that stuf?

    I can get down to some grunge, for sure!

    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.

    @superunknown I love Alice! Dirt is pure perfection, Bush are also amazing. Gavin's voice is one of the best. I don't know why I tried to listen to Soundgarden, but there is something about them, that none other grunge band has and it makes them kind of strange for my years, but I love Spoon Man and Like a suicide. @Saudade Neil the god father of grunge <3
