I definitely understand; the voice is rather nasally.

I'm not familiar with O.C. Smith but I thought it was a nice tune.

Bob Dylan is a genius. But, his voice seems to go well with his lyrical style, or maybe I'm just used to it. I don't know. I actually do like this song, John Darnielle's nasal goes fine with anxious paranoia.
