It is, but that's what I like about it, although I enjoy the Mick Smiley Ghostbusters version more. Mainly because of this scene:
<video>

FYI the guy in the video I linked, the song's real music video, is Mick Smiley. He didn't remix it for Ghostbusters, someone working on the movie did.

They were adept at picking the most interesting parts of some otherwise terrible pop songs to use in the movie. The same sort of thing happened with "Savin' the Day". The original is very, um... I'll just be generous and call it "very '80s pop"... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zj3OCyyN1sI

Whereas for the movie they picked out the best parts of it (the beginning), added a little extra oomph with more horns and a guitar, and made the best of what was otherwise not all that great: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNuG25oq_b0

Haha you're right I just wasn't being very observant. Interesting by the way and thanks.

Indeed, I believe the going rate punishment for inflicting this upon people is *flicks through file* stapling of the lips to the knees. Enjoy.

:cry: No!! I'm too young to die! I can't help that my music taste ranges from beautifully pieced together indie jazz music to shameful "superman dat ho" rap songs! Willy you accept this offering as apology?..
