I've been doin' country for the last couple of days.
Just heard "You Can Let go Now, Daddy" By Crystal Shawanda. (?????)
I haven't cried over the loss of my father for years but this one caused immediiate and spontaneous tears.
It's the typical, three-verse/three-chorus, somewhat sappy CW song. But oh my!
The examples she remembered of where she needed to tell her father to let go of her were out of my own life.
"No ray of sunshine is ever lost, but the green which it awakes into existence needs time to sprout, and it is not always granted to the sower to see the harvest. All work that is worth anything is done in faith." - Albert Schweitzer
