I've been doin' country for the last couple of days.

Just heard "You Can Let go Now, Daddy" By Crystal Shawanda. (?????)

I haven't cried over the loss of my father for years but this one caused immediiate and spontaneous tears.

It's the typical, three-verse/three-chorus, somewhat sappy CW song. But oh my!

The examples she remembered of where she needed to tell her father to let go of her were out of my own life.

I was in the mood for some loud german music:

OOMPH!-Willst du Frei Sein? (I love the "beat" of this song, starting at about 0:30, ignore the retarded video).
