I love this song, so so good. It has a pensieve feel to it, I think. All instrumental.

The new Killswitch Engage album. I had been waiting for them to stock it at the exchange here on base, but it never happened, so I ordered it from Amazon.com. I'm enjoying it, but I feel it's a bit weaker than all their previous releases. To my knowledge, it's the first time the band has had an outsider come in and produce an album. Formerly, they had their guitarist (who is very musically gifted) do all their producing (as well as writing, singing, screaming and playing the ole' axe). He did co-produce this album however, but the change of sound (not the style of music) definitely shows and it's not a change for the good, IMO. Also, as a whole, the songs just aren't as grabbing. Not as memorable :(. I still love this band though. I know they have a bad rap with the elitists of the metal scene, because they're sort of a cross-over band that does some radio-friendly songs, but they do it so well and they've always done a great job in writing good music.

Here's their first single from the album. Keep in mind, it sounds a lot better on disc... Youtube compresses audio to shit.
