YouTube - The Toadies - Away

I just ordered tickets to see Toadies, which makes me fairly happy. I've driven 12 and 8 hours to see them in years past.

Speaking of sampling, I heard somewhere Big Audio Dynamite was the first band to do it (Probably movie sampling, specifically). I don't know if it's true. But now I'm listening to it.

I've heard "E=MC2" was the first non-hip-hop single to use sampling. Sigue Sigue Sputnik were also right there in 1985-86.

    YouTube - Even Tho

Song starts at 1:50. I think the lead guitarist is Jennifer Turner who played with Natalie Merchant (and is totally fucking great to the max).
