To avoid criticism, do nothing, say nothing, be nothing.
    ~ Elbert Hubbard

Music provides one of the clearest examples of a much deeper relation between mathematics and human experience.

Daydreaming I will feel the coolness on my feet.
I will let the wind bathe my bare head.
I will not speak, I will have no thoughts
But infinite love will mount in my soul

    - Rimbaud

When I went to the climbing gym last weekend, their playlist was a real intense flashback to middle school and high school. All my old favorite hard rock songs from the early to mid 2000s. Some guilty pleasures, some not so guilty.

INTP friend and I HAD to burst into song when this one came on:

RATHER FEEL PAIN THAN NOTHING AT ALL

    RATHER

    FEEL

    PAAAAAIN

.../anyway I'm listening to it again now
and may or may not have been listening to it a LOT this week
