It pisses me off that the spiderman2 movie got such bad reviews, it was actually a good movie, but again since it does not fit with the media's concept of what a "good" movie is, it was just entirely lambasted.
Too much depth of characterization, and real human struggles.
It just felt so relevant, I loved it. More relevant then a lot of movies now, with depth and not being too bland, and also fun.
I felt like even though they changed things, they did so in a way that was not only respectful but also really smart and making the story and characters fit better today's world. Some of the visuals were really good, too.
