I normally don't care much for zombie movies...

...but I really want to see this. I don't know why, either...

EDIT: It's PG-13?!?! What kind of zombie movie is PG-13?

OMG. I was just gonna joke and say it's the Zombie answer to Twilight, with teenage zombie romance in the air.... then watched the trailer.
I should work Tarot as a living or something.

Anyway, I want to see it, it COULD be pretty cool. The one girl was in Crazy Stupid Love as well.

The difference is that this looks to be a comedy whereas Twilight was a drama, which in itself is what made it funny.

But this movie is an intensely creative spin on the whole zombie formula. I can't tell most zombie movies apart, TBH.

I think it looks cool, and I think at this point that this kind of approach is necessary if one wants to do a zombie genre movie, as the market has been effectively glutted. The tone of the trailer looks perfect, and hell, they cast John Malkovich as the dad, so it's pretty clear they're going for "quirky semi-drama" style here.

I own so many zombie movies it would be embaracing, if I had any sort of standards. Fortunately, I don't, so that's ok. Once you dib past the famous zombie movies and start watching the more obscure ones, there others done from the view point of the undead. Wasting Away was one of the better. The zombies percieved themselves as being completely normal - it was everyone else who changed. They saw all the normal people as moving a hyper speed and squeeking incomprehensible rubbish.
