I really would have to watch all the movies again, it's been years and years since I've seen them and I forgot at this point.

But the parkour scene from Casino Royale is my favorite first action sequence.
Probably Goldfinger is my favorite song, followed by The World is Not Enough.

When i was young, I liked Roger Moore as Bond; but I think nowadays I'd either go with Daniel Craig or Sean Connery.

The World is Not Enough was a great song. The best from Brosnon era, IMO.

In the fall of 2006, Casino Royale and Assassin's Creed introduced free-running to the masses.
It took off and is now a common activity.

Jaws. Heh. He was definitely memorable.... and in the end, he did get his girl (and hopefully a nice orthodontist).

Moore sucks balls. In saying that, he is probably the actor who most resembles Fleming, with his cringe-inducing incompetence and Bond, who is arguably the most vacuous "hero" ever created.

Ian Fleming may have written those books in Jamaica, but in the UK where he came from, he lived in Norbury, a neighbourhood that's next to my one (in the same borough).

Disagreed. Back in his prime he was banging cocktail waitresses.

    Well...he's James Bond. A superspy/elite secret agent.
    He ain't the goddamn Batman.

Stop being a negative nancy in my thread.

Cool beans. I suspect his vacation in Jamaica was his inspiration to set Dr. No in the Caribbean (which I watched today for the first time).
