I think syndereN is pretty intelligent. I think he thinks so too, though. What annoys me about him is that he believes all of his observations and predictions to be prodigiously insightful. Few are. While others try to narrate the game, to him it seems to serve as a mere accessory to his comments. The Terrence Malick of DotA.

My favorite caster is Ayesee. I saw Puppey cast a match once. He was pretty good as well.

Okay. I never played DOTA in the WC3 days, so I do not have direct experience, but I'm a little skeptical about all the hype here. I can't imagine techies are going to turn the entire game upside down. But I guess I should ask which games we're talking about anyway, because if we're talking about All Pick, that's already completely pointless chaos, Techies or no Techies. If there's some sign that they ruin CM games or something, that would be worthy of concern.

My favorite caster is Ayesee.

Turns out he casted sports on local radio before he switched to video games, so I think he's the only guy casting DOTA that is sort of classically trained if you will.
