I didn't enjoy it all that much... I kind of got dragged along by people who enjoy superhero movies a lot more than I do; they seemed to enjoy it though. Superhero movies just seem too predictable to me: Bad guy shows up and kicks good guy's butt, good guy hides and trains, good guy comes back and defeats bad guy. Even the major "twist" of the movie was something that I predicted fairly early on. Eh, to each his own, I guess.

He didn't add nipples (complete with areolae) to Alicia Silverstone's Batgirl costume, though!

But seriously. Spandex and fetishistic nipple armor aside, I agree.

He should have worn a lightweight kevlar, fitting the classic Batman color pattern.
Body armor restricts mobility. It's also incredibly hot, heavy, awkward...the list goes on.

The color scheme is wrong, too.
Black clothing leaves a silhouette and is easier to detect than any other color at night. It doesn't blend.
This is among the reasons ninja wore navy blue outfits for stealth missions back in the day.

To top it off, Inception gal casually walked up behind him and stabbed him in the liver with ease.
The outfit wasn't utilitarian on any level, nor was it aesthetically pleasing. What was the point?
