    Incredible talent. I think someone who can capture that sort of detail is a truly gifted artist. That's pretty amazing.

    Those are great. I tend to find that style super-impressive but kind of cold, but these are more like good photographic portraits. (I assume he did them from photos?)

    I did a lil youtube search of him, and if I heard him right, he takes photographs of his subjects but then adjuts the image to his liking. He's still an artist ie. someone who wants to invoke a certain type of reaction from his audience, his medium is just a super-realistic one. This also gives his medium an advantage over pictures - the fact that he can manipulate the image so easily without losing any realism makes it a better way to get his message accross.
