Funny that you would ask that question, Dr. Haight. I just picked up the new Einstein biography by Issacson.

I'm looking forward to making a dent in that sucker though the course of this wonderful Wednesday.

I'm about to start Son of a Witch, the sequel to Wicked. Go ahead and revoke my lit degree now.

To Kill a Mockingbird and Emma.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Damn, I was excited there for a minute. Since I'm pretty sure that I'm the only one that read Howard Zinn's screenplay about Emma Goldman.

    So the feeling remains . . .

Still reading The History of Love, by Nicole Krauss (got distracted by other books for a while), and Joan Didion's The Year of Magical Thinking.

    I... suppose. Yeah!
