I like the whole Merlin/Arthur thing."In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay one invincible summer."
A Christian's life may be the only Bible some people ever read.

I have about 50 pages left of Iain Banks' Against a Dark Background, then am going to start either his book Matter, or else Umberto Eco's Foucault's Pendulum. Actually as I type this I think I'll go for Eco, as I haven't read anything by him before and I suspect I'm really going to like him."...On and on and on and on he strode, far out over the sands, singing wildly to the sea, crying to greet the advent of the life that had cried to him." - James Joyce

I'm reading The Help, by Kathryn Stockett.I'm a little teapot, short and stout. Here is my handle and here is my spout. Every time I steam up, I give a shout. Just tip me over and pour me out.

I just finished reading a book I got for my birthday: The Cat That Went To Paris by Peter Gethers. I liked it.I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower. The TV was obviously on. I used to fly myself and I said, "There's one terrible pilot."

If you don't agree about my MBTI type, you can complain about it here. I've had plenty of people telling me I'm something else, in my reputation box. That's annoying.

Got lots of books for my b/d. Just finished: The Divided Kingdom by Rupert Thompson.
Sometimes funny. Occasionally brilliant. Often disturbing. I read it in one sitting and it's a long time since I've been absorbed enough by anything to do that. His vision of a dystopian choleric Britain has a horribly familiar feel.
"The new racism is psychological. What's strange is, we seem to need it - to thrive on it. If we don't have someone to despise we haven't properly defined ourselves. Hate gives us hard edges."
