I'd like to say Ravenclaw, but to be honest, probably Gryffindor. I'm plenty intelligent, but I'm really not as intellectual as I once gave myself credit for and tend to rely more on my tenacity and grit like Gryffindor is known for

Hermoine is hard to place because she demonstrated alot of Gryffindor and Ravenclaw traits. To me, her intellect stood out more than anything but she was obviously brave as well. The sorting hat not only looks at your overall aptitude but also takes into account your preferences. It isn't likely to place you in a house you really don't want to be in. Perhaps Hermoine preferred to be in Gryffindor and for whatever reason did not want to be placed in Ravenclaw. Perhaps she values bravery more than intellect even though she is very smart.

Nothing would bring my heart more joy than hearing the sorting hat enthusiastically shout Slytherin after having gently been placed upon my head. However, in terms of alignment, I'd be ravenclaw.
