    Well, obviously.

Of course, she must be quite old, as all the main parties involved are now long dead.

-How beautiful, this pale Endymion hour.
    -What are you talking about?
-Endymion, my dear. A beautiful youth possessed by the moon.
-Well, forget about him and get to bed.
    -Yes, my dear.

I just got back from Quantum of Solace, which opened today in the US. It had classic Bond action, but without the gimmicks and gadgets, making it slightly inferior to a classic Bond movie. Not as good as Casino Royale, either. Although I loved how they did the gun barrel sequence in this one. It fit quite well. (Just put it back at the beginning of the film for Bond 23!!!)

Step Brothers is about 1,000 times better than I thought it was going to be. 10/10, one of the best comedies ever IMO.

Quantum of Solace... Highly disappointing. They were obviously attempting to chanel The Bourne Ultimatum with the action sequence editing and in the staging of a certain scene. Didn't pull it off at all. I won't go on, don't want to 'spoil'.

    Altered States (1980)

An obscure Science fiction film by cult director Ken Russell which explores western culture's obsession for finding a true intangible self. Actor William Hurt attempts to find his true intangible self via an unknown hallucinogenic drug found in Mexico. He purports that other states of consciousness are as real as everyday reality. Through sensory deprivation methods in conjunction with this unknown drug, he experiences several states of 'being'. Throw in some Nietzschean Will to Power undertones and you've a nice little gem of a film here.

Highly recommended. (I saw it Sober but would like to see it induced)

Thanks. I couldn't stand the camera work in Ultimatum, so I won't bother with this one.

Burn After Reading. Bizarre (as expected), but great.

The only film I'm really looking forward to possibly seeing is Valkyrie with Tom Cruise, which is about the 1944 plot to kill Hitler. I think it comes out either later this month or next month - don't know off hand.

Of course I also have my doubts of whether to bother. Among my concerns is how they're going to protray the fact that the leader of the plot, Colonel Klaus von Stauffenberg, was a practicing Catholic.

    I'm watching Fantasia.

My sister owns so many Disney classics, it was hard to choose, but not I gladly settled.
