Three Billboards. I'm not sure how accurate the portrayal of small southern towns is, but if it isn't accurate, then this is one of the most bigotted films made recently.

I'm watching to the second season of the Handmaid's Tale. I think the show has done a good job of presenting well-rounded and very human characters with strengths and flaws. I can feel sympathy for a character one week, and then despise them for their actions another week. Makes for an intense and interesting watch.

Multitasking while watching the first season of Queer as Folk. Where has this show been all my life? It's fab.

I'm watching this show Orange is the new Black, its intriguing, I think I'm into the second season of it now, its by the guys who wrote Weeds, another show that I really liked too.

I wonder if the prisons in the US are really like this. I wonder if they people in it are what some Americans are really like too.

In the beginning it was quite interesting. But then it just became too pornographic and patronising/condescending in my opinion.

I'm watching Riverdale together with my girlfriend as per her suggestion, besides the typical teenage romance/drama the show is actually pretty interesting, good characters too, most of them have something interesting about them, and are generally likable (the one's that aren't are usually written to be hated).

I skip through that content to be honest, some episodes do seem to include more of it than others and its redundant I think but maybe there's people tuning in for it, IDK, its not my thing though.

There's some great accompanying comics reboots or updates too, they're worth reading, plus there the Sabrina and Archie: The Afterlife too. Pretty good stuff.

Just got back from "Ant-Man and the Wasp"

Probably doesn't need its own thread. It's mostly just light-hearted fun with a heart (Scott's relationship with his daughter). It's also a film about heroes trying to actively DO something but a few different "enemies" keep presenting obstacles to their success. So that's a bit different than most superhero flicks where the heroes are trying to stop a villain. Basically, in a world without Thanos, it would be a flat movie; in a world where Thanos just did what he did, it's kind of a relief to have a "no real high stakes" casually funny picture to watch.

It's a pretty funny movie. Only a few jokes fall flat, and there were a few that brought a LOT of laughs. It also sets up a few new characters for future MCU films. it's also pretty inventive in its use of size-changing abilities.

The post-credits scene was tonally kind of a gut-punch, though. it wasn't unexpected, but I kinda gasped despite knowing what it was going to be. I see the setup there from the dialogue, I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out next year.

Finally watched Unbreakable, the M. Night Shymalon movie that I'd never heard of until last year. It's ok, but The Sixth Sense is still his best work. Let's all hope that he didn't peak with his debut film.

With Sixth Sense, he just lucked out with a good script. Unless he wrote it, then I'd say he'd peaked because nothing else he did was as good. I gave up on him. I won't watch one of his movies unless it comes to Netflix or Hulu.

Just finished the series finale of Six Feet Under. Many people have said this is one of the greatest series finales ever and I agree.

Yup. I really enjoyed watching all those people die. That was better than the rest of the show. Simpsons did a death series scene like that in a recent episode and I liked it when they did it too. I was glad I'd watched Six Feet Under not long before so that I'd know what that ending scene was about.

Last night I watched Father of the Year on Netflix, cause it had David Spade in it. David Spade usually does good stuff. This wasn't really good, but the INTP enjoyed it well enough and it wasn't the worst garbage I'd ever seen.

Batman ninja, it is awesome, I am impressed by this idea that it is no longer the utility belt but the entire bat costume which tricked out.

This gorilla dude, I thought he was from the justice society comics, not the batman or justice league comics.
