    Default Canada is SO lucky...

If you'll recall, about a month and a half ago, I was heartbroken when it was announced that the J.J. Abrams reboot of the Star Trek franchise was being pushed from a December 25, 2008 release date to a May 8, 2009 release date. Well, according to this, it now seems that the film will see a December 2008 release in Canada, but the rest of the world will still have to wait until 2009. I am so jealous.

Though having said that, I am really looking forward to this film. ILM is working on the special effects, so that's a big plus.

Is there a reason you just can't import it?

Just think of yourself lucky that you don't come from Brazil.

I not a movie person, but I Import computer games, and it is still about 25% cheaper. Having said that, Nintendo are annoying and make me have to use Action Reply.

Nothing is like seeing a movie in the theater, though.
