She's actually a daughter of a Scottish Clan Chieftain in real life, grew up in a castle and have family title. Pretty awesome.

Huh, that must of been quite a shift cleaning up after lords and ladies.

17 is the legal age in Texas.

OMG Really?! She's even cooler to me now!! I liked her in the book, thought her actress was soooo perfect and now she's awesome IRL too?! :static:

Yeah, its the whole older persons targetting younger persons which I think is weird. The eroticisation of younger age groups and youth per se is a bit sick.

Yup, pretty cool person, she has a very different accent from her character, its some awesome acting skillz and she started in another show as a maid called Doungton Abbey or something like that, her accent is a kind of posh/elite edinburgh-ish accent which is pretty interesting. There's clips of interviews with her on You Tube. I read that she's skillful at horse riding, skiing and stuff of that kind too.

I am always interested in what people of uber wealth or status do and why they do it, they are closer to being able to realise the idea of "human being", you do what you do because you want to do it for some reason not because you are compelled by circumstances or the need to earn a living.

Dude, unless you're sixteen or seventeen yourself that's just wrong.
why? most are too immature for a relationship with most people, but there's a difference between "she's hot" and "I'm going to go out and seduce her". does it magically become alright to find them attractive in 12 months? lol

PS: I'm 21

No it doesnt, it does when they're twenty and you're twenty one.

They dont look very scottish, I like the pale, red headed women.

Lol. Those are other characters from Downton Abbey. Tom was an Irishman, socialist, and Chauffeur who went after the Lord's daughter. Worked in fictitious 1920s England why not in real Scotland today?

His wife dies pretty young, though.

I shared this opinion with someone (to watch the TV show before reading the book). She disagreed that it would be more exciting that way. I agreed with her because she is beautiful.

However I must say that what you said about things would be more exciting for 'not knowing what's happening in the books' makes quite a lot of sense. I shall keep this post in my mind and the day I read the books come back and share with you as to what method I find more interesting.

There are a few perks in reading the books first -

You can make a fuss
You can feel superior than the rest of the people in the room who are watching it with you
People would look at you when they don't understand whats going on
You can play mind games with people
Basically everything which is mentioned in Edgar 's video.

*Feels shallow*
Perfectly valid preference. I am too self-absorbed to enjoy the perks of reading the book first. :(
