Ok, well since I'm in a music mood (actually, there are few times when I'm not), I'd like to talk about vocalists. Being a vocalist, vocals and lyrics are very important to me. Who are your lead vocalists/lyricists and who do they sing for?

Justin Hayward- The Moody Blues
Jim Morrison - The Doors
Eric Clayton- Saviour Machine
Ozzy Osbourne - Black Sabbath
Jack Black - Tenacious D
Rowan London - Virgin Black
John Denver
Ronnie James Dio- Black Sabbath, Dio
Hansi Kursh - Demons & Wizards, Blind Guardian
Geddy Lee - Rush
Bruce Dickenson - Iron Maiden
Christopher Cross
Amy Lee - Evanescence
Enya -Clannad
Alison Krauss - Union Station
Chester Bennington - Linkin Park
Dwight Yoakum

LOL. Nope. I've actually met and talked to the guy personally (friend of a friend) and I don't think he likes getting confused with Kriss Kross.

CHRISTOPHER CROSS IS KICK-ASS!!!! I SAW HIM LAST YEAR IN CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS. (CHRIS IS A FELLOW TEXAN, BTW) ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS I'VE EVER SEEN. I GOT AN AUTOGRAPHED ALBUM AND EVERYTHING.

That's where I met him initially. One of the guys I went with; well, his dad went to school with Chris, so we got to hang out with him after the concert. Really nice guy. I love every song you listed INTJMom.

Sailing is like an orgasm to my ears. LOL.

"I was born the son of a lawless man.
Always spoke my mind with a gun in my hand.
Lived nine lives
gunned down ten.
Gonna ride like the wind." - Chrisopher Cross "Ride Like the Wind"

Story of my life. LOL.

Eh, good luck with that!

That asshole is almost never on.

I like Soundgarden ok, but I'm not an Audioslave fan. But I'll give you some rep points on Distant's behalf!!!
lol. Thank ya sir.

I like a little of both bands myself.

Actual singing ability is not a make or break thing in the music I like, I go more on the impression. That said, these are my favorite vocalists based purely on their voices, not on how much I like their music:

Bono (U2)
Marvin Gaye
Otis Redding
Solomon Burke
Jim Kerr (Simple Minds)
Chris Robinson (The Black Crowes)
Patsy Cline
Aretha Franklin
Etta James
Elvis Presley
David Ruffin (The Temptations)
Darlene Love
Brian Wilson (Beach Boys)
